Feeling a little blue this holiday season? This is a special service for those who may have suffered a loss or are just overwhelmed by the holiday season.

Celebrate the birth of Jesus at an early family service or the later candlelight service.
Personal Reflection Time Anyplace Anytime
Take some time each day for personal reflection. This can be in the form of prayer, scripture reading, or quiet contemplation. Just 5 minutes of quiet time will draw you closer to God.

A casual gathering for the holiday season to share stories, fellowship, and treats! Bring a small gift to exchange.

Family Devotion Time Home Anytime
The advent season is a great time to for a family devotion time. It can be daily or weekly. Read about the birth of Jesus in Luke 2:1-20 or Matthew 1:18-25, light an advent candle, count down to Christmas with an advent calendar, set up a nativity scene adding one piece daily, or discuss weekly sermon topics with your spouse or older children.


Community Sharing Gift Certificates Sunday, Nov and Dec 10:00 am
Proceeds from the noisy offering during the Sunday service in November and December will be used to purchase holiday gift certificates for Community Sharing.
Stitching for Others Wednesday Mornings 10:00 am
Join this dedicated group of people who sew quilts for those in our church and our community who are hurting or in need.
Mitten Tree December and January Anytime
Placing a new hat or pair of mittens or gloves on the tree in the fellowship hall will help to keep some person warm this holiday season.
Cass Community Service Presents Through Dec 9
As in prior years, we will be collecting presents for Cass Community Center. This year, we would also like to include gifts for single Moms and children in homeless shelter. Place your wrapped gift in box in Fellowship Hall including a tag indicating who gift is for. Suggested gifts are warm clothes, undergarments, socks, etc.
UMW Cookie Walk Saturday, Dec 8 9:00 am
Bake cookies or help at the church the day of the sale. Proceeds from the Cookie Walk go to the missions supported by Milford United Methodist Women.
West Hickory Haven Outreach Tuesday, Dec 10 10:00 am
Visit and show God’s love to the residents of this nursing facility.
Holiday Charities Anytime
Opportunities are numerous during the holiday season. Whether you shovel snow for neighbor, put some pennies in a red kettle, serve meals at a homeless shelter, or send a card to a homebound church member, always do so with a cheerful heart and a prayer for those who will receive this kindness.

Worship Services

We offer a Sunday worship service starting at 10 a.m. and each third Saturday of the month at 5 p.m. we offer a casual band-led service.

Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministry is a one-to-one lay caring ministry that provides high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered care to people who are hurting.

Music Ministries

We invite you to share your musical talents from harp to snare drum or from hand bells to chancel choir.

Group Ministries

A variety of special interest groups meet weekly or monthly. Join anytime!


We invite you to serve on short term projects or on-going missions, local and beyond.

Friends Preschool

Friends Preschool and Kindergarten is a ministry of Milford United Methodist Church serving 80 children each week.
